The Opportunity
Morrow County Grain Growers supports a donation campaign that gives a percentage of their propane sales to local schools.
The Challenge
Morrow County Grain Growers needed to increase the profile of the campaign beyond their current clients to include more businesses within the community to increase the school donation amount.
The Solution
To extend the campaign awareness and participation beyond the current clients, custom baseball caps were made for each of the local schools that featured their school colors, mascot, and Morrow County Grain Growers logo. The caps would then be distributed at the beginning of the football season. The four-month production turnaround time for the baseball caps quickly began to ensure they would be ready in time for the kick off.
The Result
The baseball caps were a great success! They were so popular that all the caps were given away within weeks, and the customer re-ordered them multiple times. Best of all, campaign awareness and support were so tremendous that propane sales increased by 60%, thereby considerably increasing the donation amounts given to each school.
